FAQ

Frequently asked
questions.

Drivision drivers earn 70% commission on all bookings. This competitive rate applies to airport transfers, corporate bookings, weddings, and all other services. There are no hidden fees or deductions beyond the standard commission structure.
The $550/week rental is all-inclusive of vehicle maintenance, servicing, and comprehensive insurance. The driver is responsible for charging costs (typically $30–$50/week depending on usage) and tyre replacement. Home charging is the most cost-effective option.
You need current H accreditation (hire vehicle) and D accreditation (rideshare) issued in the ACT. O accreditation (Omnibus) is preferred but not mandatory. A clean driving record and minimum 2 years commercial driving experience are also required. Contact Access Canberra for accreditation details.
Yes. If you hold D (rideshare) accreditation you can accept rideshare work through approved platforms like Uber during periods without Drivision bookings. Many of our drivers successfully combine both services to maximise their earnings throughout the day.
Yes, Drivision offers flexible scheduling. However, the part-time earnings example above shows that the $550/week rental cost is a significant factor at lower booking volumes. Availability during peak hours — early morning and late night airport transfers — is highly valued and will increase your earning potential considerably.
Once you submit a complete application with all required documentation, the verification process typically takes 2–3 business days. After approval and RideMinder® training (approximately 1–2 hours), you can begin accepting bookings. Most drivers are earning within 2 weeks of their initial application.
We encourage you to apply even if you're in the process of obtaining accreditations — we can guide you through what's required. However, you cannot begin accepting bookings or take possession of the vehicle until all required accreditations, insurance, and background checks are fully complete.
